Denmark for the
UN Security Council 2025-2026
In June 2024, Denmark was elected for a non-permanent seat on the UN Security Council for the period of 2025-2026. The membership is a natural extension of our strong and longstanding commitment to the UN and international cooperation. Denmark last served on the UN Security Council for the period 2005-2006. We are proud to once again be entrusted with this important responsibility.
